3CAT'S DOCUMENTARIES CONCLUDE A SEASON IN WHICH THEY HAVE HELPED SHAPE CATALONIA'S SOCIAL AND POLITICAL AGENDA.

La fugida, veritats ocultes is an investigative documentary series that delves into sexual abuse committed in the religious sphere and the mechanisms that allowed them to be hidden for decades. Through new testimonies, unpublished documents, and rigorous investigation, the series gives voice to survivors and contributes to social repair and debate.
Following the impact of its first instalment, The Escape: Hidden Truths expands the investigation with new cases of child sexual abuse within different religious congregations. Across three episodes, the series uncovers stories that remained hidden for decades, examines the mechanisms of institutional cover-up, and follows survivors in their search for truth, justice and recognition.
Co-produced by 3Cat, Ottokar and El Periódico de Catalunya, the series has generated significant social impact, becoming one of the most-watched documentaries of the season while helping to bring long-silenced stories into the public sphere.
